This option adds a protective lamination finish that helps preserve your printed certificate from handling and wear. If you choose to create your certificate using Canva design templates within our online design tool, the lamination option will not be available.

Note on design and printing: Uploaded certificate files include a small margin around the edges and do not print edge-to-edge. For full-bleed certificate designs that extend to the edge, use a Canva template within our design tool.

Can I print my certificate full-bleed?

If you upload your own design, prints will include a small margin and won’t be full-bleed. To print edge-to-edge (full-bleed), use one of our Canva design templates.

What size are printed certificates?

Our printed certificates are 8.5" x 11", a standard size that fits easily into certificate holders or presentation folders.

How can I print a certificate?

You can order printed certificates online by uploading your own file or customizing a template. You can also visit a nearby FedEx Office location for in-person help with certificate printing.

Can I design a certificate online?

Yes, you can create a custom certificate using our easy online Canva design tool. Choose from professionally designed templates and personalize them with your text, logos, or colors.

Do you offer same-day certificate printing

Yes. Most printed certificates can be ready the same day or within 24 hours when you order online for in-store pickup, depending on quantity.

Can I laminate my printed certificate?

Yes, lamination is available when you upload your own certificate file for printing. You can choose between Glossy Lamination with no border or Glossy Lamination with a ¼-inch border. Lamination adds a durable, protective finish that helps preserve your certificate.

Lamination availability varies by paper type. It is not compatible with glossy papers such as Gloss Text or Gloss Cardstock, as these materials already have a coated finish that prevents the lamination layer from adhering correctly.

Lamination is also unavailable when using Canva design templates in the online design tool.
