How to pack a guitar for shipping
Loosen the strings slightly and secure any removable or moving parts. Wrap the headstock, neck, body, and other vulnerable areas with appropriate cushioning, adding extra protection around the instrument’s corners and edges.
Place the guitar inside a compatible hard case or gig bag when available, then add cushioning to prevent movement within both the case and shipping box. Seal all seams securely with heavy-duty packaging tape before applying the shipping label.
