Can I get my menus printed on water-resistant paper?
Yes. We offer synthetic, water-resistant paper that's designed to handle the demands of restaurant and hospitality settings. This 7.7 mil tear-resistant paper helps protect your menus from spills, splatters, moisture, and frequent handling, making it ideal for restaurants, bars, cafés, food trucks, and outdoor events.
The durable surface is ready to handle everything from minor spills to quick dips, helping extend the life of your menus without curling or tearing. While highly water-resistant, it is not fully waterproof, so menus should not be left submerged or exposed to water for extended periods.
Water-resistant paper can be printed full color, single- or double-sided. Its smooth surface allows for vibrant, high-quality printing while remaining flexible and easy to clean.
What’s the difference between gloss cover paper and water-resistant paper for menus?
Both options create professional-quality menus, but they’re suited for different environments and levels of durability.
- Gloss cover paper: A heavyweight, coated cardstock with a smooth, high-gloss finish that gives menus a crisp, polished look and vibrant color reproduction. It’s ideal for dine-in menus, drink lists, or presentation-style menus that need a premium appearance. However, because it’s a traditional paper stock, it can absorb moisture and may show wear over time in high-use or spill-prone settings.
- Water-resistant paper: A 7.7 mil synthetic material designed to withstand spills, splatters, and frequent handling. It’s tear-resistant and resists moisture and temperature changes—perfect for high-traffic restaurants, patios, bars, cafés, or outdoor events. It can be printed full color, single- or double-sided, while remaining flexible, smooth, and easy to clean.
Choose gloss cover paper for a high-shine, premium presentation on indoor menus, or water-resistant paper for durability and protection from moisture in busy or outdoor dining environments.

How do I print a double-sided menu?
You need a separate file for each side to print a double-sided menu.
For example:
- For PDFs: You can upload a 2-page PDF file or two separate 1-page PDF files.
- For images: You'll need to upload two separate image files.
Click on Upload a File and upload all the files you want to use at once (either a 2-page PDF, (2) 1-page PDFs, two separate image files, or a combination of a PDF and an image file).
If you're ready to upload your files, follow these steps:
- Click on Upload a File from the product page and upload the files you wish to use (a 2-page PDF, (2) 1-page PDFs, two separate image files, etc.).
- You can choose to Combine Files or Keep Files Separate.
- Combine Files: This option will automatically set the first page as the front and the second page as the back.
- Keep Files Separate: This option allows you to choose which file is on the front and which is on the back.
- If you select Combine Files, you'll be taken directly into configuring your project.
- If you select Keep Files Separate, you'll be taken to My Projects, where you can drag and drop the files into your project as needed. The first file you place will be the front, and the second will be the back.
- Click on Set Up Project.
- You'll be taken back to finish configuring your project.
