In-store self-service shipping at FedEx Office

At FedEx Office, Ship and Go offers in-store self-service shipping for prepackaged items at select locations. Use the self-service kiosk to print shipping labels, scan QR codes, drop off pre-labeled packages, and print or email receipts, all without waiting in line.

How in-store self-service shipping works

Bring your prepackaged item to a FedEx Office location that offers in-store self-service shipping and follow these steps to complete your drop-off without waiting in line.

  1. Scan your shipping label or QR code.
    Scan a barcode from an existing shipping label, or scan a FedEx-issued QR code created in the FedEx mobile app or on fedex.com to print a shipping label at the kiosk.
  2. Print your label or receipt (optional)
    If needed, print your shipping label, or choose to print or email a receipt for your shipment.
  3. Drop off your package.
    Place your pre-labeled package in the secure drop bin to complete your shipment.

  • Available at select FedEx Office locations
  • Designed for prepackaged items only
  • If you do not already have a shipping label, create one in advance using the FedEx Mobile app or fedex.com.
  • Supports eligible expedited, standard, and economy envelope and package shipments
  • Not available for restricted shipment types such as dangerous goods or alcohol
  • Daily drop-off cutoff times are displayed on the kiosk screen.

Frequently asked questions

Can I create a shipping label at the kiosk?

Shipping labels must be created in advance using the FedEx Mobile app or on fedex.com. The kiosk allows you to scan a FedEx-issued QR code to print a label or drop off a package that already has a shipping label.

Do all FedEx Office locations offer self-service shipping?

Self-service shipping is available at select FedEx Office locations. Check your local store to confirm availability and hours before visiting.

What types of shipments can I drop off at the kiosk?

Eligible expedited, standard, and economy envelope and package shipments can be dropped off at the self-service kiosk. Restricted shipment types, including dangerous goods and alcohol, are not supported.

Can I get a receipt for my shipment?

Yes. After scanning your shipping label or QR code, you can choose to print a receipt, email a receipt, or select no receipt.

Do I need to package my item before using the kiosk?

Yes. In-store self-service shipping is designed for prepackaged items. If your item needs packaging assistance, visit the shipping counter for help.
