How to hang custom metal prints?

Custom metal prints come with two (2) sets of hardware. The hardware set includes four pieces - 2 wall cleats and 2-panel cleats (36x48 prints include a 3rd cleat set for added stability) that will sit together once installed. The adhesive panel cleats are to be attached to the back of the custom metal print, while the wall cleats are screwed into the wall. When using the cleat hardware, the print will sit off the wall about 1/2” to give it a gallery look with a shadow mount effect.

What are cleats for hanging metal prints?

Cleats are a type of mounting hardware used to hang custom metal prints. They come in two parts: one piece attaches to the back of your print and the other secures to the wall. When the two pieces interlock, the print sits securely and evenly, creating a floating, gallery-style look about ½ inch off the wall.
